For more information about our organization, please visit www.campfirenorthshore.org.     </p><p>Camp Fire North Shore is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all aspects of our after school program located in Lynn Public Schools, A Charter School and in Salem at our Program Facility. This includes curriculum development, staff management, registration and ensuring a safe and enriching environment for all participants.&nbsp;The programs target school age youth, pre-k through grade 8. The director will work closely with school administrators, parents, and community partners to provide high-quality program that supports the academic and social development of students. This is a year-round position.&nbsp; Hours during the school year are 10:00am – 6:00pm, plus some evening training and meeting hours. Summer hours are flexible and will align to summer programming being offered at the time.   </p><p><strong><u>Job Description:</u></strong>  </p><ul><li>Supervise Site Coordinators and a team of group Leaders  </li><li>Manage staff recruitment, hiring, training and evaluation processes for all school age staff  </li><li>Conduct background checks for school year program staff  </li><li>Manage staff schedule and staff payroll  </li><li>Maintain staff files in accordance with licensing requirements  </li><li>Oversee registration for all sites   </li><li>Lead monthly staff meetings and conduct regular supervisions along with all necessary trainings and orientations  </li><li>Manage EEC and DPH licensing and compliance, including fire, building and health permits  </li><li>Prepare and update program policies and procedures as well as Parent Handbooks, Health Care Plans, and Health Care Agreements according to licensing requirements  </li><li>Prepare and update all staff orientation and training manuals, as well as Staff Policies and Procedures   </li><li>In collaboration with site manager facilitate the maintenance, cleaning, repairs, etc. of 2 Cain Rd property and program sites  </li><li>Coordinate with Site Coordinators to develop and implement activities/curriculum and initiatives, including Thrive{ology}, project based learning, STEM, and social emotional learning.  </li><li>Coordinate the assessment and evaluation of youth outcomes  </li><li>Drive program quality via the PQA process and adapt programming as necessary per evaluation and outcome measurement results  </li><li>Distribute weekly program attendance trackers and provide necessary attendance information to billing staff for monthly voucher billing  </li><li>Collaborate with other team members with promotion, development and implementation of special events such as Absolutely Incredible Kid Day  </li><li>Manage LPS food service orders and deliveries  </li><li>Order program supplies, submit purchase orders to bookkeeper, distribute supplies to sites  </li><li>Participate in weekly staff meetings  </li><li>Work with the Camp Fire leadership team to promote and extend Camp Fire programs in the community  </li></ul><ul>  <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for families. This includes      but is not limited to providing updates, incident reports, and responding      to inquiries about the program </li></ul><ul>  <li>Conduct outreach and initiate partnerships within the community      to ensure we are serving the whole child   </li><li>Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well maintained  </li><li>Oversee the inventory and maintenance of equipment and supplies  </li><li>Stay current with best practices in out of school time      programming, Camp Fire National programming/initiatives, youth      development, DESE initiatives, and education policy  </li><li>Track data and patterns and respond to unmet needs either by      making referrals/connections to other programming or      designing/implementing new programming  </li><li>Work in collaboration with leadership to manage the program      budget and ensure all expenses are within allocated funds  </li><li>Reports to the Chief Operating Officer </li></ul>]]></media:description></item></channel></rss>
